TL;DR

  • A team member is considered active if they've logged into Slite at least once during the prior month.

  • When you upgrade to a paid plan, and in recurring payments for your plan, you'll only be charged for members who are active, at a minimum of one license per subscription.

  • If you're on a yearly plan, we will check for inactive members every month, and add credit to your account accordingly. The credit will be used up in your next invoice.

  • Adding a license in the middle of a billing period will be prorated accordingly and charged at the end of the month.

If you add new members partway through the billing cycle, the prorated amount will be charged at the end of the month.

If members becomes inactive, you won't be billed for their seat in the next invoice.

We'll calculate the prorated cost for your new member, for the rest of the billing year, and bill you that prorated amount at the end of the month in which you added the new member.

If members become inactive, you'll get credits to your Slite account and they'll be used in your next payment. The credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. They'll expire if and when you choose to terminate your paid plan with Slite.

How credits works and where to find them?

You accumulate them from the yearly subscription and you can see them from your team settings > Billing > Overview.

Any credit that may accrue to a your account will expire in the event of expiration or termination of the paid subscription of your workspace. It will have no currency or exchange value, and will not be transferable nor refundable.

Credit accrued to a workspace on a free subscription plan will expire if the workspace’s plan is not upgraded to a paid plan within ninety (90) days of accrual, unless otherwise specified.

How to find your number of active members?

As for credits, head to your team settings > Billing > Overview, you'll be able to see how many active members you'll be charge for.
