SSO is actually in a private beta and will be part of the enterprise plan.

Single sign-on gives your members access to Slite through an identity provider, like G Suite, Okta, Azure AD.
⚠️ It'll become the only way your team members can sign onto your Slite team.

Identity providers supported

  • Okta 
  • Office 365 (Azure AD)

OKTA

1. Create application in Okta:

a. In your Okta workspace > Applications tab, create a new application.
b. Choose the Web App type.
c. In the login redirect URI input, add the following URL https://slite.com/api/auth/openid/callback 

2. In your Slite workspace:

a. Go to your team settings > Authentication tab > Configure OpenID authentication
b. Enter the name of the authentication provider.
c. The provider URL is the url of your okta workspace under the form https://[YOUR_OKTA_WORKSPACE].okta.com/  

3. Last steps

a. Finally head back to Okta > applications created > settings > General tab. Copy paste the Client Id & client secret located at the bottom into Slite.

b. Click validate and save. Every member of your Slite team is now required to sign-in through Okta.

Microsoft 365 (Azure AD)

1. Create an app in Azure AD.

a. In the Azure AD control panel > App Registration category:

b. Click on New Registration
c. Choose a name for this app, for example Slite.
d. In the redirect URI enter: https://slite.com/api/auth/openid/callback 

2. Configure your authentication on Slite

a. Go to your team settings > Authentication tab > Configure OpenID authentication
b. Enter the name of the authentication provider.
c. In the provider URL, enter https://login.microsoftonline.com/%{TENANT_ID}/v2.0 where tenant ID refers to your Azure AD tenant ID. (Can be found on the overview panel of your newly created application in Azure AD)
d. The client ID can be found right above the tenant ID, on the same panel.

3. Last steps

a. Finally head back to Azure AD > applications created > Certificates & secrets
Click New client secret , copy its value and use it to to fill the client secret input in Slite

Finally clicking Validate should redirect you to Azure AD's authentication portal, where you can identify yourself. Once authenticated you will be redirected to Slite and the SSO configuration process will be over
