On the Standard plan, payments can fail for multiple reasons (e.g. there aren't enough funds available, your credit card has expired, CVC data doesn't match what your bank has on file.)

What to expect after a failed payment?

We will attempt to bill you four times within the month. A payment email notification will be sent to owner, admin(s), and billing admin(s).


⚠️ If the last attempts fails, your workspace will be downgraded to the Free plan. You won't lose any content but you won't be able to create new docs anymore.

Updating your payment method

If you’ve run into a payment issue, workspace owners (or the person who upgraded the workspace) can update the credit card directly from the billing page.
